Roles & responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Must be aware of project management tool i.e Jira.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and design automated test plans.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
- Perform regression testing to ensure product integrity after updates and bug fixes.
- Continuously improve the test automation framework.
- Analyze test results and report on test metrics.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in QA Manual/ Automation testing.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
